FAQ

1. When does Leuven Pride 2026 take place?

Leuven Pride will take place on Saturday 26 September 2026.

2. Where is the meeting point for the march?

The meeting point will be announced soon, but will be in the heart of Leuven.

3. How can I participate in activities, or volunteer?

We can always use a helping hand. Take a look at 'Help us' on our website where you'll find a list of everything you could help out with.

4. Why is there a Leuven Pride and who can join?

Leuven pride stands for visibility, connection and activism - not only partying, but also a protest against discrimination. Everybody's welcome - LGBTQIA+-people and allies - in an inclusive atmosphere that stimulates openness and meeting each other.

5. Rules for participating with Leuven Pride

We warmly welcome as many organizations, associations, and political parties as possible to join us as allies in our colorful parade.

🌈 What we do love to see

  • Wear something colorful to help brighten the parade with the beautiful hues of the rainbow community.

  • Celebrate our pride as a sign of solidarity with LGBTQI individuals from our region.

  • Bring your enthusiasm, respect, and positive energy.

🚫 What we don't want

  • No political flags or flags from organizations outside the queer community. Only flags from LGBTQI associations are allowed, so the community's message can take center stage.

  • No racist, discriminatory, or violent statements.

  • No behavior that distracts from the message of equality, love, and inclusion.

Together, we'll make Leuven Pride a warm, safe, and joyful celebration for everyone. Thank you for respecting these guidelines and helping create an unforgettable Pride!

Pride is for all of us.
Pride is protest*.
Pride is connection.

*Protest (from Latin: pro is 'for', testari is 'to witness') means expressing concern about political or social injustice. Hoping to spark change.

WE'LL MAKE LEUVEN PRIDE TOGETHER

We expect 2500 people and we want to be organized.
