During your shift
- We have zero tolerance for the use of alcohol or drugs.
- Be kind, inclusive, and respectful: respect names, pronouns, and personal boundaries – ask if you're unsure.
- Keep an open mind: do not assume someone's gender, sexuality, or background.
Practicalities - If you selected a free ticket, you are on the guest list – give your name at the entrance.
- Volunteers receive a drink token from their coördinator.
- There is no food truck - we don't provide food - hungry? check me
- Dress code: there is none – come as you feel comfortable.
- If you see or sense something unsafe, message or call Jolien at +32 495 16 59 12.
- If someone needs medical support, refer them to the First Aid stand.
- Do you have the last shift? Please help us clean up – many hands make light work!
- If you receive materials for your shift, return them to your coordinator afterwards
Important - Leuven Pride works together with the Care Team and police services.
Only they are authorized to intervene where needed – no one else. - Enjoy Leuven Pride 2025!

Prepare Pride @ Unique on Friday
- The doors of Regenbooghuis UniQue open at 10 AM.
- Printing lists, filling envelopes, laminating, gathering materials,
rinsing cups, laughing, picking up supplies… - Kishan will be here to get you going - he just needs a coffee first
Build-up - 09:00 - 13:00 - Finishing touches - 13:00 - 15:00
- Just come over here, you can't miss us.
- Ask for Titi – Lucas – Anna – Kishan. They'll get you started.
- If you have (work) gloves, be sure to bring them!
- Setting up crowd barriers – filling fridges –
- building tents – placing tables and chairs, bins, fire extinguishers, banners, flags, info boards…
Bar - tapeiland @ martelarenplein

- Tasks: Serving drinks, Serving soft drinks, Refilling fridges, Collecting empty cups
- Our drinks come in 1L glass bottles – we never hand out glass to the public.
- We do not serve alcohol to anyone under 16, and no liquor to anyone under 18.
- We only use reusable plastic cups – available in soft drink / beer / cava size.
- Our bar counter is quite high for wheelchair users – please be mindful of this.
- If you see someone who has had a little too much to drink, alert our Care Team.
